The following positions for town offices are up for election in March 2012. Petitions are available at the Town Clerk’s office. As of January 9, only one incumbent had said she was not running (Library Board) and no one had started a petition for one of the CCS School Director positions. All of the other incumbents are circulating petitions. One new person has taken out a petition for the 3-year Selectboard seat.

Auditor – 3-year term (Nancy Wood-incumbent)
Cemetery Commissioner – 3-year term (Stephen Brooks-incumbent)
CCS School Director – 3-year term (Clyde Baldwin-incumbent)
CCS School Director – 3-year term (Incumbent Kristin Wright has not yet picked up a petition.)
Library Trustee – 5-year term (Incumbent Beth Merritt is not running. Dorrice Hammer is circulating a petition.)
Delinquent Tax Collector – 1-year term (Mary Mead-incumbent)
Lister – 3-year term (Kay Gault-incumbent)
Town Moderator – 1-year term (Jerry Schwarz-incumbent)
School District Moderator – 1-year term (Must be elected separately. Jerry Schwarz is running.)
Road Commissioner - 1-year term (Hugh Lewis, Jr.-incumbent)
Selectboard – 3-year term (Charles Russell-incumbent)Frank Tenney is also circulating a petition for this seat.
Selectboard – 2-year term (Winslow Ladue-incumbent)
Town Agent – 1-year term (Edd Merritt-incumbent)
Town Clerk – 3-year term (Mary Mead-incumbent)
Town Grand Juror – 1-year term (Walter Gates-incumbent)
Town Treasurer – 1-year term (Mary Mead-incumbent)
Trustee of Public Funds – 3-year term (Heather L.G. Manning-incumbent)

Petitions are due in the clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012, with at least 30 signatures in order for your name to be placed on the ballot.
