Many Contributed to Plant Sale

On behalf of the Friends of the Charlotte Senior Center I want to thank the community for the generous support of the annual plant sale on May 29th.  We had fabulous and lovely donations from Brit-Sue Greenhouse, First Season Greenhouse, Gardenside Nurseries, The Garden Goddess, Horsford Gardens and Nursery and Red Wagon Plants.  Many local gardeners divided and shared their garden treasures.  Many neighbors came to visit, shop, share ideas and information, drink coffee and eat baked goods and of course buy annuals, perennials, herbs, veggies, hanging baskets, bulbs and even trees!  Many volunteers priced, labeled, lugged and sold all the wonderful goods.  Proceeds from the sale help the Senior Center provide a full and varied schedule of activities and classes.   Thank you all for your support,  happy gardening and see you at next year’s sale.
