Father and son Delorge lead Trinity Baptist to New England title.
With coach Ken Delorge planning strategies and his son K.C. tending the goal, Trinity Baptist men’s soccer team won the New England Association of Christian Schools’ championship 1-0. A semifinal win over Dublin Christian Academy of New Hampshire the day before placed Trinity in the finals against New England Baptist. K.C. was named the all-tournament team goalie.

Krolick tops her age group in half marathon.
In good shape from chasing her dogs, Charlotte’s Carlie Krolick led the 50-54-year-old women runners in the “RaceVermont.com” half marathon with a time of just over 1 hour, 47 minutes.

Macnee seals Middlebury victory.
Former CVU soccer star Tyler Macnee, now playing for Middlebury College, scored the second goal in the Panther’s 2-0 win over Wesleyan. The victory secured a place for them in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) finals against Williams. The Ephmen defeated Mid 2-1 in overtime for the title.
