Two CVU women athletes nominated for
scholarships

Field hockey’s Kelsey Jensen and women’s soccer player Addie Peterson, both from Williston, were nominated for Ethan Allen Club Foundation Scholarships for their athletic and academic prowess this past fall. The winners will be announced in June, and each receives $2,500. This will be the 18th annual award by the private Burlington social club.

Fortin named Athlete of the Week.
Redhawk sophomore wrestler, Sam Fortin, was named athlete of the week by the Burlington Free Press for the week of December 14. Unranked when he entered the Early Bird Tournament in St. Johnsbury, Fortin defeated four opponents and earned the “Outstanding Wrestler” award.
