Selectboard Seeks Bids for Flea Market Cleanup
Selectboard Seeks Bids for Flea Market Cleanup
May 10, 2011.....

At the May 9 meeting, the Selectboard authorized Selectboard member John Owen to coordinate the cleanup of the Flea Market site, including seeking bids for the removal of all of the tables (over 100), metal frames (enough for dozens of canopies/tents), and a variety of other items left by the prior tenants. According to the terms of their lease, these items became the property and responsibility of the Town of Charlotte when not removed when the lease ceased.

Owen has also been tasked with organizing a committee to brainstorm about future (short-term and long-term) uses of the site. A brainstorming meeting is this Thursday evening, May 12, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall. Anyone with ideas and suggestions is encouraged to attend.

Here is the Request for Bids from the Town of Charlotte for cleanup. Site visit is May 16, bids are due May 20:
