Thanks A Bunch: Recreation would like to thank Sarah McGarghan from srmphotography for her donation of all the soccer photos. We would also like to thank the Charlotte Grange for hosting the Celtic Dance performance on November 17.
Basketball: Practices start this week.
Nordic (Cross Country) Skiing: Charlotte Recreation is pleased to promote two exciting ski opportunities at Sleepy Hollow Ski & Bike Center in Huntington. The Bill Koch Youth Ski League is for kids ages 5-13 who want to have fun while learning how to Nordic ski. The Junior High Program is for skiers in grades 6-8 who have an interest in learning more about both skating and classic techniques in preparation for racing on a high school team. For more information visit the Charlotte Recreation website or Sleepy Hollow website, skisleepyhollow.com/skiing/bill-koch.
Charlotte Recreation is also interested in starting a weekly ski day at CCS, but we’ll need volunteers. Please contact the office if you’re able to help.
2010 Summer Camp info: Charlotte Recreation is very happy to announce that we are hosting a major league soccer (MLS) camp this summer in Charlotte July 19-23. Save the dates!
