Plouffe Lane Trails Are Now Open

The Plouffe Lane trails are on 80 acres of town-owned land in East Charlotte along the LaPlatte River. The trails are about two miles long through meadows and forest with views of the Green Mountains. There is parking at the trailhead, a picnic table nearby and a viewing bench on a knoll in the meadow. The trails are now open to the public.

The Trails Committe recently spent a fall day working on the Plouffe Lane trails. Helpers included committee members Margaret Russell, Laurie Thompson, Josh Kowalski, Stephany Hasse and David Ziegelman, plus volunteer Andrew Peters.
