Osprey Update
August 20, 2011.....

The osprey youngster has been flying all this week, but is still hanging out at the new nest atop the pole at the intersection of Ferry and Lake Roads. Both parents have been seen bringing food, and perching in the nest, on the higher power pole or on the top of a nearby tree. GMP put a barrier at the top of the power pole to prevent a future next from being built there, but the birds still use it as a perch.
