News from The News - It’s Photo Contest Time

You are invited to enter the Fifth Annual Peter Coleman Photo Contest. The deadline for submissions is June 30. Photos can be submitted via e-mail (preferred) to news@charlotenewsvt.com or by regular mail to The Charlotte News, P.O. Box 251, Charlotte, VT 05445. Or you can drop them off at our office in The Ferry Road Business Park (second floor of the EatingWell building). E-mailed photographs should be full size, high resolution – not reduced for e-mailing.

The contest is in memory of Peter J. Coleman, reknowned Charlotte photographer and former editor of The Charlotte News, who passed away in January 2006.

There are two divisions, 18 and over, and under 18. Please include with your photo your name, address, telephone number, age (if under 18), and also a description of the subject/location of the photo. All types are accepted, as long as they are original photographs with a Charlotte connection (for example, taken here or of Charlotters).
Photographs will be judged by an impartial panel, and the winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Town Party on Saturday, July 10.

By submitting a photograph you will be giving us permission to print it in the paper and on The Charlotte News website, at our discretion.
