Art For The New Year: Rick Benson, proprietor and chef at the Little Garden Market, shares his paintings with us. Rick started painting in 2004, taking time to fulfill a longtime desire and to fill his restaurant with consistent art. The abstract paintings in oils, acrylics, and latex will be on display through the end of February.

Holiday Program: Martin Luther King Remembered
Join us at the Charlotte Library in celebration of Martin Luther King Day. As we read stories about King’s life we will be constructing a peace wreath to display at the library in February, Black History Month, and also make a ‘I Have a Dream’ mobile to take home.

When: Monday, January 16, 1-2 p.m.

Brown Bag Story Time: Preschool Friends
Pack a lunch for story time! After our library picnic, we’ll share stories, songs and crafts then make a treat for dessert.
When: Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. January 17 to February 21.
Who: Children ages 3 to 5 who are comfortable in a story time setting with or without a parent/caregiver.

Loan period: Two weeks
Overdue notices: Sent at two weeks past due date
Materials reminder:  Sent at four weeks past due date
Notice of Restriction:  Sent at six weeks past due date
Renewals: In person, over the phone or via the library account system
Please note that return or replacement of materials will lift lending restrictions. If you have any questions or would like to set up a library account, please call the library at 425-3864 or e-mail: charlottelibraryvt@gmail.com.
