We’re “gaming” the old-fashioned way at the Charlotte Library! Join us for a fun-filled morning of board-game mania with everything from Scrabble and Clue to two new games from North Star games, Wits & Wagers and Say Anything. Help us make this a record-breaking day of games and fun across the country!
What: National Gaming Day
When: Saturday, November 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: The Charlotte Library
Who: You with Friends and Family!
How: Just stop in to play one game or stay all day!

Story Time as athe Snow Flies!
Our second session of story time begins November 16.
Kindergarten Story Time: Mondays at 12:30 p.m.
Monday Story Time Lunch at 12:00 p.m.
Kindergarteners can take the bus from CCS with a parent note.
Preschool Story Time: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
For children ages 3 to 5 who are comfortable in a story time setting.
Registration is required. Please call to sign up at 425-3864.

Thanksgiving Gifts Program
Wednesday, November 18, at 3 p.m.
Sherrie Simmons shows you how to make an old-fashioned pomander and shares the folklore and fun of Thanksgiving. For grades 1 to 4 (take the bus from CCS with a parent note). Please note space is limited and registration is required. Please call to sign up.

Fall Series Concludes November 12

The Pilgrimage series concludes on Thursday, November 12, with discussion of A River Sutra by Gita Mehta. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the library, and Lesley Wright will facilitate the final session.
The series is sponsored by the Friends of the Charlotte Library with the Vermont Humanities Council. Books are available to borrow at the library. The program is free and open to the public; the library is handicapped accessible.
