New at the library
Not only do we have new books to share, we now have new ways to share them. With a generous donation from the Friends of the Charlotte Library, the library purchased a Kindle e-reader and a color Nook e-reader. These are available for patrons to use in the library to learn and explore the features of these two tools. In addition, the library has e-subscriptions to several magazines and newspapers for you to enjoy. These include The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Financial Times as well as The New Yorker, Cooking Light, Sports Illustrated, Real Simple, This Old House, Sunset and other periodicals. Stop in to try one out. Upcoming: workshops on e-readers and related technologies. Please let us know at the circulation desk if you are interested so we can schedule.
