Who’s Got the Mitten?
December 12, 10:30 a.m. to noon
A family program for all ages, this lively morning session will feature mitten storytelling, mitten crafts, mitten-knitting demonstrations and the debut of our mitten tree.
Help us decorate the tree with new mittens for homeless families. If you and your family are feeling crafty, you can pick up a pattern to knit a pair of mittens or to create a pair of easy-to-sew felted mittens. We will accept mitten donations (handmade or purchased) throughout the month of December and then send them along to local charities. Join us for a festive start to the winter season and a chance to help your neighbors in need. Mitten refreshments will be served!
