Local Option Offered for School Pictures

Charlotte photographer Sarah McGarghan of srmphotography has been offering school pictures at CCS since 2007. The administration made the decision to return to Lifetouch for the 2010-2011 school year.
Lifetouch, Inc., according to its website, is the world’s largest employee-owned photography company. Based in Minneapolis, it began in 1936 and now provides services to millions of people in all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
McGarghan has been a resident of Charlotte for the past 20 years, knows the majority of children in town and believes her easy way with them helps produce their very best expressions. Srmphotography specializes in pictures in a natural outdoor environment. For the last three years Sarah offered recess candids on a secure website, which portrayed kids playing with their friends on the playground.
McGarghan says that photographing children is her true passion. She has been involved with Charlotte and Shelburne team sports photography for the past six years. This year she will be offering the opportunity for students to come to her house to have portraits taken. She will have 15-minute slots available over the weekend of September 18-19 for individual portraits of school-aged children. A variety of packages can be ordered to purchase as well as the popular magnets, stickers, key chains and picture frames.
Sarah will also offer a unique opportunity to have buddy shots taken. Students may bring friends and have a group shot taken with the whole gang – a great way to remember childhood friends.
