Programs and Activities for Children

Selected Story Times
Join us for two special Story Times in May: Tuesday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m. We’ll share some of our favorite stories. Please call the library to sign up (425-3864). Children ages two to five are welcome.

Celebrate Children’s Day
Learn about kodomo no hi, a Japanese holiday just for kids! Enjoy some Children’s Day treats and make a carp kite banner to take home in honor of Children’s Day. Registration is required, so please call the library to sign up. May 5 at 3 p.m. This program is suggested for children in grades one through four.

Pajama Story with Jan Schwarz
Join Jan for bedtime favorites and a nighttime snack on May 12 at 6 p.m. This Story Time will be suitable for children ages two to five.
