The final session of Celtic Dance classes for this year will begin March 2. Celtic Dance class introduces the fundamentals of Irish Step and Scottish Highland technique in a creative and enjoyable environment. Children will explore a variety of rhythms and movements associated with Celtic group and solo dances including jigs, reels and the sword dance. We will have beginner and intermediate classes as the sign-ups permit. The class is open to students in grades 1-5. Classes will be held at the CCS gym after school on Tuesdays for six weeks. Registration fee is $75.
Our annual Hoops Fest 3 v 3 competition is scheduled for March 13 and 14. Adult, high school, middle school and 4th-5th grade teams will compete to be the champions in their division. We also have a couple of shooting contests in each division. Sign up your team of three to four players today. Sign-up information is on the town website.
We have three dates left for Sunday discounted ski lift tickets at Smuggler’s Notch: February 28, March 7 and 14. You can score youth lift tickets for $13 and adult for $25. Forms and more information available on the website and at Town Hall.
Are you planning your summer camps yet? Many of our camps from last year are coming back again. In addition we plan to offer a couple of new ones. Camps that are coming back this summer: Hoops Basketball Camp, Flip and Cheer Camp, Tennis and Tiny Tennis Camp. Check out our summer camp tab on the website for updated camp information.
