Thanks to the students, teachers and staff at CCS for organizing the Thanksgiving food drive and decorating the Food boxes. Thanks also to the following organizations that donated food during Thanksgiving: The Shelburne / Charlotte Rotary, Ben and Jerry’s and Farrell Distributing.
The Christmas Food / Gift Baskets will be set up on Friday, December 21st from 8:30 am-12 pm. Volunteers are needed to help organize the food baskets and to transport boxes from CCS to the Congregational Church. (It’s Fun! No Experience Required!) Holiday Toy Boxes have been placed in the Post Office and at the Charlotte Central School. All of the gifts and toys placed in these boxes will be donated to the Charlotte Food Shelf and to the Lund Family Center in Burlington. Gifts for children of all ages are needed. However, the biggest need is for teenage boys ages 13 -17yrs old.
Financial donations and gift certificates can be mailed to The Charlotte Food Shelf and Assistance, c/o 3319 Mt. Philo Road, Charlotte, VT 05445 Thanks in advance for your generosity. If you need emergency food, please come to the Charlotte Food Shelf. It is located on the lower level of the Charlotte Congregational Church vestry, on Church Hill Road.
