Thank you to the following for your generous support: Charlotte Congregational Church members, Don and Kate Maynard, Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains (GSGWM Troop 30698), Charles and Elizabeth Deslauriers, Bob Chutter, Charlotte town employees, Maj Eisinger, John Searles, Catherine Hughes, Karol Jane Josselyn, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church members, Evan and Catherine Metropoulos and all the anonymous donors who filled drop-off boxes around town. Thank you to Shelburne Supermarket employees Jim, Joe, Paul and Drew for their help with items for the April 28 distribution.
Total cash donations collected for the Feinstein Challenge equaled $6,242.72. Food item donations, valued at $1 per item for purposes of the matching challenge, equaled $948. The grand total collected for the food shelf during the challenge in March and April was $7,190.72! A big thank you to all who participated!
The Charlotte Food Shelf is run entirely by volunteers, so all donations go directly for food or emergency assistance. We appreciate your donations any time of year; checks may be mailed to:
