Food Shelf News
By Kerrie Pugh,
January 26,2012, page 10.....

Please help us restock our shelves. We are holding a food drive at Town Meeting day, Tuesday, March 6. If you are planning to attend the meeting, we are in need of and would greatly appreciate nonperishables such as soup, crackers, peanut butter, canned vegetables, toilet paper, tissues, dish soap and Tylenol. Thank you! Also, we will be selling raffle tickets (one for $2 or three for $5) for a beautiful quilt made by Tammy Hall. All proceeds to benefit the food shelf. Thank you Tammy!
We received many wonderful notes from those who received the holiday baskets. One such recipient wrote, “Thank you so much for helping to make this a wonderful Christmas for my family. I couldn’t afford to do much for them because I hadn’t been working due to surgery. Thank you again. God love all the kindness.”
The Feinstein Matching Challenge is coming soon in March/April. This is a good time to make a cash donation to the Food Shelf because all donations are matched. Details will be in the next issue.
The Food Shelf is run entirely by volunteers, so all donations go directly for food or emergency assistance. We appreciate your donations any time of year. Checks may be mailed to:
