Charlotte Volunteer Rescue Service elected officers at the December 1, 2009, business meeting. Congratulations to the new officers:

Our appreciation goes to the outgoing officers for their dedicated service to Charlotte Volunteer Rescue Service. Thank you, Dawn Holbrook, Bill Scannell and Elaine Ittleman for your time and efforts on behalf of the squad.

Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department also held elections for officers. Newly elected officers are:

Christopher Davis, Chief
Richard St. George, Assistant Chief
Joshua Flore, Captain
Jonathan Davis, 1st Lieutenant
Devin St. George, 2nd Lieutenant
Christopher Mack, 2nd Lieutenant

Outgoing officers Kip Mesirow and Paul McAdam are commended for their outstanding service to Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department.
