Congratulations

to Molly Wiggins, a student at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, New Hampshire, who earned placement on the Dean’s List with High Honors for the first semester of the 2009-2010 academic year.

to Tara Hetz and Casey O’Brien, students at St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York, who earned placement on the Dean’s List for their academic achievement during the fall semester 2009-2010. Tara is a senior majoring in conservation biology. She has participated in Amnesty International, Lettuce Turnip the Beet, and has rowed on the St. Lawrence crew. Casey, a junior, majors in global studies. He participates in the Association for Campus Entertainment, Nordic skiing, and the Outing Club.

to Jacqueline Jones who received her 40-gallon pin from the American Red Cross Blood Services, New England Region.

to Dwight Asset Management and its founder John Dwight who contributed $21,000 to Champlain College’s Emergent Media Center in the name of former Dwight CEO Laura Dagan in recognition of her 22 years of service to the company and her recent retirement.

Sympathy

is extended to family and friends of Edward R. Eurich of Waitsfield who passed away February 17 at the age of 93. His surviving family includes his son and former Charlotte resident, Greg Eurich along with Greg’s wife Michele Caitlan who currently live in the Bahamas. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial gifts do so to the Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center Patient Activities Fund, 98 Hospitality Drive, Barre, Vermont 05641 or to the Mad River Masonic Lodge #77, Porch Restoration Fund, c/o Charles Kettles, P.O. is extended to family and friends of E. Darlene Trudeau of New Haven who passed away February 6 at the age of 70. She was born in Charlotte, the daughter of Harley and Edith Holcomb. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the American Heart Association Vermont Affiliate, 434 Hurricane Lane, Williston, Vermont 05495, or to the American Diabetes Association Vermont Affiliate, 77 Hegeman Avenue, Colchester, Vermont 05446.

is extended to family and friends of Wayne Ronald Hooker of Charlotte who passed away February 11 at the age of 73. His surviving family includes his companion of 14 years Ann LeClair of Charlotte.

is extended to family and friends of William E. Dawson, former Charlotte resident, who passed away on February 17 at the age of 88. His surviving family includes his wife of 62 years, Kit Dawson, daughter, Linda Williamson, and her husband, Bruce, of Charlotte, two sons, Lee and Bob, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
