Chocolate Lovers! Essex, New York, Beckons

The Town of Essex, New York, – just a ferry ride away from Charlotte – is hosting a Chocolate and Wine Walk from 2 - 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. According to Gladys Archer, “We’re working hard in Essex to get the word out that we are still open for business, and that it’s year round now, too.” Gladys and her husband, Joshua, are the proprietors of the recently renovated Essex Inn.
According to Gladys, participating businesses and organizations will offer “decadent” chocolate treats or wine tasting at various stop points for ticket holders. Area businesses and organizations, including the library, are also running additional special promotions and services in conjunction with the event, including dining, shopping, wellness treatments, romance packages, lodging and more.  These are in addition to the ticket purchase and vary for each participating location.
Tickets cost $10 per adult, $4 per child (12 and under) and free for children 3 and under.
They can be purchased now at participating businesses and organizations throughout the town of Essex, and are also available the day of the event.
