CCS Zingers 5.6 Perform with Essex Children’s Choir

The Charlotte Central School 5th and 6th grade Boys Chorus, also known as the Zingers 5.6, was honored recently with an invitation to perform at the renowned Essex Children’s Choir 25th Anniversary Kick-Off Concert at the McCarthy Arts Center at St. Michael’s College on May 22. Sixteen members of the 27-voice chorus performed “This Little Light of Mine,” which featured soloists and Cole Rehkugler as cellist. In addition, the boys performed several numbers with the Essex Children’s Choir. The Zingers 5.6, directed by Allyson Ledoux, is open to any interested 5th and 6th grade boy at CCS.
