CCS Rink Nearly Frozen
CCS Rink Nearly Frozen
Letter from Carlie Krolick
Tuesday February 2, 2010

I stopped by the rink today at about 3 pm. It has been newly flooded and is not quite ready for skating. I would imagine that it would be frozen hard for your enjoyment by tomorrow. Jeff Payne has the sign up asking people to stay off the ice at this time.

I'm not sure how he got the frozen goal posts out of the ice, but we owe him a big thanks for doing so. Please, everyone, if you move the goals out on the ice, please slide them back on the side when you leave the rink.

Thursday afternoon the rink may be used by a large number of athletes from CVU's ski team. They have asked and been given permission to run some fitness drills using our rink from about 3 to 5 pm.

Thanks again to Jeff Payne and thanks to all of you for your patience!
Happy skating,

Carlie Krolick
