Next Meeting: December 4, 8:15 a.m. in the CCS cafeteria annex
The last several weeks have been busy for the newly established CCS PTO. At its November 6 meeting, bylaws changes were made and new events were officially added to the PTO schedule, changing the mission statement and removing certain items to better reflect and support the new direction the PTO is taking. If you have heard rumors of a dog show at the school, they are true; we will elaborate about this event in the future.
This Saturday, December 5, is the CCS PTO Winter Craft Show. I would like to thank everyone who helped the idea of holding a large craft show evolve into a reality. There will be around 40 crafters. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and contribution.
Over 20 local businesses have made very generous donations to the CCS PTO Winter Craft Show raffle. The prizes include a beautiful homemade birdhouse, gift certificates, a Lake Monster game package, a snowboard, gift baskets, jewelry, memberships and so much more. Raffle tickets are available now ($2 each, six tickets for $10 or 20 tickets for $30) and will also be on sale at the craft show. Drawings will be held at the show beginning at 3 p.m. A full list of prizes is available online on the PTO Facebook page and the PTO page of the CCS website.
We are currently seeking student volunteers willing to arrive at the school at 7 a.m. to greet the show participants and offer assistance in unloading vehicles. We want to welcome the entire Vermont community with a warm, generous representation of the youth at CCS, so if you have the time and would like to help out please call Kelli at 985-2575 or e-mail beadedexpressions802@yahoo.com. Again thank you for the support and contributions, I hope to see you at the show!
