CCS Alumni Walk the Halls for the Last Time
CCS Alumni Walk the Halls for the Last Time
by Nancy Wood
July 1, 2010, pg 6

Thirty former CCS students “walked the halls for the last time” on June 19. They reminisced about the old days when the 1949 building was the entire school.
Included in the picture taken in their old sixth grade classroom are, left to right, front row: Emily Thurber, Allison Brown-Carr with her two daughters, Anna and Lila, and Bob Larson. Left to right standing: Stanley Lane, Ti Ramsey, Sky Thurber, Connie Waller, David Waller, Jane Butler, Andrew Thurber, Mary Paolucci (Maryet Thurber), Debbie Clark, Patti Lotz, Roger Richmond, Bonnie Sweet Schumacher, Tom Larson, Walter Larson, Connie Collom Pecor, Tammy Bushell, Ruth Marcotte Hutchins (who helped organize the event), Carl Cole and Mae Bailey Higbee.

Others who attended included Sarah Soule with her mother Sallie Soule, Trudi Gecewicz Jordan, Nancy Wood and other family and friends of CCS.

The contractors have taken over the 1949 building. A fence has been constructed to separate the construction site from the parking lot and playground, and the building is being prepared for demolition this month.
