to David Miskell, who was featured in an article in Seven Days May 13 issue about the green side of the South Village Development off Spear Street in South Burlington. Miskell is working with developer David Scheuer in order to restore fertility to the land where they have cleared trees and brush, planted cover crops and added liquid manure. He says in the article that he believes getting the acreage planted makes good business sense so that people can say, “It’s not just a dream.” A portion of the sales price for South Village homes will be directed to a stewardship fund, Miskell noted.
